This program is designed exclusively for licensed mental‑health professionals—psychologists, LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCs and other clinicians—who have successfully completed EMDR Basic Training. If you’re looking to refresh your EMDR skills and deepen your cultural competence, you’re exactly who we built this course for.
Reconnect with the heart of EMDR and boost your cultural competence.
Deepen your EMDR effectiveness with Spanish-speaking and culturally diverse clients—without losing fidelity to the model.
This advanced refresher is designed for licensed, EMDR-trained clinicians who want to strengthen their technical precision and their cultural responsiveness. Over two immersive days, you’ll revisit the 8 phases and 3 stages of EMDR, while learning how to adapt language, belief work, and interventions to honor Latino cultural values, developmental context, and communication nuances.
Through hands-on practice, live demonstrations, real-world case consultation, and guided discussion, you’ll learn how to navigate
Spanish language differences, verbal and nonverbal communication, and culturally influenced belief systems—so your interventions land with clarity, accuracy, and respect. You’ll leave with renewed confidence, sharper clinical judgment, and practical strategies you can apply immediately across Spanish-speaking and other richly contextual cultural populations.
Earn 12 CE credits while refining your ability to deliver EMDR with both clinical rigor and cultural confidence.
Many clinicians feel rusty on EMDR’s core protocols or unsure how to adapt the model for Spanish-speaking and culturally diverse clients. This refresher rebuilds your confidence, sharpens your clinical decision-making, and provides 12 CE credits—so you stay current, meet licensure requirements, and serve a broader range of clients with confidence.
