Identify common therapist pitfalls & barriers, such as avoidance when working with resistant clients.
Explain Key Trauma - related terminology & the Window of Tolerance for assessing client readiness
Analyze Client Readiness for EMDR by assessing dissociation and the need for resource installation.
List and apply EMDR processing strategies for resistant clients, including resource installation.
Describe strategies for engaging adolescent clients in EMDR processing
Explain the impact of negative & positive affect in the EMDR process.
