EMDR with Couples and Families
This Introductory EMDR specialty course presented by Kenya Rocha MS, LMHC, NCC & International EMDR Basic Trainer, will assist you in integrating EMDR therapy with couples and families. Through lecture, video, and activities, Kenya teaches the application of the Adaptive Information Processing model of EMDR therapy to relational and systemic issues, identify relationship and attachment deficits with couples and families, and develop collaborative positive resources.
Ms. Rocha will share the decision-making guidelines for couples processing jointly or separately, ethics for working with children and parents, and discuss the foundation of strong couple and family bonds, and share an EMDR and EFT couples treatment video series to illustrate the learning.
This course is open to all EMDR clinicians who have completed EMDR Training.
