Overview

This EMDR specialty course, presented by the esteemed EMDR Basic Trainer Kenya Rocha LMHC, focuses on integrating EMDR therapy with couples and family dynamics. Kenya Rocha MS, LMHC, NCC & International EMDR Basic Trainer, will assist you in integrating EMDR therapy with couples and families. Through lecture, video, and activities, Kenya teaches the application of the Adaptive Information Processing model of EMDR therapy to relational and systemic issues, identify relationship and attachment deficits with couples and families, and develop collaborative positive resources.

Ms. Rocha will share the decision-making guidelines for couples processing jointly or separately, ethics for working with children and parents, and discuss the foundation of strong couple and family bonds, and share an EMDR and EFT couples treatment video series to illustrate the learning.

This course is open to all EMDR clinicians who have completed EMDR Training.

This program is intended for Doctorate Level and Master Level Psychologists, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, LISW, LMSW and other Master Level Mental Health Practitioners who have successfully completed an EMDR Basic Training

To receive CE or EMDRIA credits for in-person presentations or live virtual attendance, participants must attend the entire program in real time. Partial credit is not available, and watching a recording in place of attending live does not qualify for credit.

To receive CE or EMDRIA credits for the On-Demand version (typically available 20–30 days after the live event), participants must complete the full curriculum and pass a post-quiz with a score of at least 75%.

While the course evaluation is not required to receive CE credits, we highly value your feedback and encourage you to complete it. The system will automatically release your certificate after you have completed and passed the quiz.

About the Instructor

Kenya Rocha

Kenya Rocha M.S., LMHC, NCC, ACS is an EMDR Certified Therapist, Approved Consultant, and EMDR Consulting Basic Trainer with expertise in couples and family therapy. Kenya is Owner/Founder of Mosaic Family Counseling Inc., a well-known family and EMDR/trauma agency in the Des Moines area. Her systemic expertise and commitment to treating trauma with EMDR has allowed healing to occur for many individuals, couples, and families.
